Things might take a turn in the UK...

A group of MPs have lately released the report "State of the Vaping Nation", and the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for E-cigarettes was formed with the aim of exploring the right regulatory approach to adopt towards vaping products, whilst increasing knowledge and understanding of the products amongst peers, and mitigating the widespread growing impression amongst the public that E-cigarettes are as harmful as combustible cigarettes, which, though proved false by several health groups such as Public Health England (PHE), and Cancer Research UK (CRUK), still gains much ground among the UK's remaining 7.6 million smokers and countless other noninterested individuals who nonetheless entertain hostility and hold grudge against vaping & vaping products.

No one who is intellectually responsible should cultivate, not to say publish, ungrounded animosity against that which is beneficial to both individuals and the society and which, after years of enduring unfair defamation and persecutions, remains unassailable against all attempts of scandalization, arbitrary restrictions on liquid strengths and e-liquid bottle sizes, preposterous advertising bans and various other actions of adversity. No one who wishes to maintain intellectual integrity should pass ill-intentioned judgment upon that which he knows to deserve otherwise, or pass any judgment at all upon that which he has insufficient knowledge and understanding of. It was those who cared nothing for Socrates' teaching who voted death on him; it was the individuals in a mob who bore no grudge against anyonesoever who committed unspeakable atrocities and unforgivable crimes; it was the ordinary German people who knew little of the Nazi's agenda that with their votes in their hands elected Hitler unto the throne of a dictator. It is the ignorant and crooked people who care but a fig for vaping that are determined to crucify vaping and to bury it under the tyranny of their ill-bred stubbornness.

Yet people have become irresponsible, petty, and shameless. Gentlemen are not yet extinct, but ignorance and willfulness have very sadly devoured the last bit of intellectual honesty and have rendered the ancient tradition of righteousness obsolete, calling black white and white black. Living standard has increased immeasurably over the past centuries and we now have things our forefathers wouldn't dare or be able to dream of, but our integrity has degenerated to an alarmingly dangerous level, threatening to escape and vanish altogether from this intellectually wicked generation. It is so in the case of E-cigarette restrictions which make little or no sense from a public health perspective. The public has been fooled into a frenzy of enmity against vaping under the banner of "for the sake of public health", while the fact is otherwise and the masterminds behind the scene care not a bucket about public health (we all know what they are after).

But after all it seems that things might take a turn in the UK. We have now MPs, members of the House of Lords, several important health organizations, and some prominent researches involving in this rectification of abuses that vaping has been unwarrantedly subjected under, and we also have influential forums like POTV (Planet of the Vapes) that expend much of their resources and efforts on the diffusion of knowledge and education of the public, all of which bringing hope to the despairing hearts of the vaping advocates, and promising to thaw the hard frozen winter of ruthless persecution.
